The first step to becoming a Tribal Parks Ally is to sign and submit your Protocol Agreement by e-mail to tlaoquiaht@tribalparks.com. The Protocol Agreement is an expression of shared intent between you and the First Nation to build a mutually supportive relationship. In Canada’s short history here, our societies are just beginning to learn to live together. Are you ready to learn to walk the path of Right Relationship with us?

Next Steps

Once you have expressed your interest in becoming a Tribal Parks Ally by submitting your Protocol Agreement, you will be connected to our Tribal Parks Liaison, Julian Hockin-Grant.  Julian will do what he can to support you as you work to come into compliance with our certification criteria.  He will provide you with logos and materials, connections, guidance, feedback, and social media toolkits to help you act as an ambassador to the Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks.
